And I thought Houston weather was Temperamental...

I have had one of the most productive mornings of my life. And it's only 10 am! Today I have class from about 5 minutes from now until 4, so I knew if I wanted to get a run in, it would have to be early. It's not a new thing for me, to have this lofty idea about morning runs, to wake me up and get the day started right. Many a day I'll go to bed thinking "Okay, 7 AM so you can get to class. Just roll out of bed and get on the road!" But yeah, it is very rare that I am successful. But today was different! My alarm went off, I pushed snooze, as always, but then I noticed the beautiful, clear, blue sky peaking through the buildings across the street, and got myself out of bed! So, that was lovely. It wasn't my best run, since I haven't gone in at least 2 weeks, if not closer to three, but it was refreshing! My ears got a bit cold, since I expected it to be much warmer, but still worked out! Then, I got home and realized I lost my id, which is my key. So that's not ideal, but I've already gotten a new one, and mopped the floors of our room, which we were supposed to do 3 weeks ago, but never actually happened. Who am I?!

But, as I was walking to class, it started snowing! Not much, but still! I was running in sunny weather (a bit cold, but certainly not freezing), and then snow...

This Saturday was beautiful though! I went to Tivoli Gardens with my visiting mom, Lone. It is the second oldest amusement park in the world (I think it opened in the 1840s!). We didn't go on any of the rides, but we got to see all of the beautiful park like area! It was one of the first real spring days, so there were so many people out and about.

Normal, when I buy something here, I just hand it to the cashier, and pay. I don't have to say anything and hopefully I can get through without them knowing I was Danish. But, here, I had to say what ticket I wanted, and the cashier asked me where I was from. He was smiling and friendly, and took my hand to welcome me! He was just incredibly nice and just said that he hoped I enjoyed their gardens. Oh Copenhagen. Just too adorable.

There was this little parade of young boys marching through the city, playing drums. Then they had this littler performance afterwards!

Bumblebees and flowers dancing. Copenhagen, you are too cute.

Also, a few weeks ago, my wallet was stolen. It was stressful to get my debit card canceled and put in a police report and all that, but I decided to wait to get everything else replaced, like my residence card, just because it was too much to handle at the time. Then, when I get home, I have a package! And it's my wallet! The money was gone, but everything else was there. I was so excited. It was just so nice that they had made the effort to return it to me. I didn't even really need anything in it, there was nothing irreplaceable, but it was such a nice surprise!
