So, despite a few bumps in the road (such as a pocket in my carry-on ripping open, I definitely tries to fit too much haha), I made it to Copenhagen in tact (even though in the middle of the Atlantic ocean I realized that this was actually happening and that I have to live in a new place, meet new people, and study new ideas, all great things, except to my stressed-out/sleep-deprived mind who decided everything was horrible and it was a terrible decision to go ahah [reason jumped in after a few minutes, so all was well haha]). I got all my luggage to our beautiful house (from the 1700's that some Danish Prime Minister once stayed in. No big deal). It was wet and sleeting all day (which the DIS coordinator told us was perfectly normal and to be expected haha), but we still walked around to get an idea of where the school is, and just to see what was near. But it was fun, and even snowed a little (not good for flights, but does look beautiful against these old houses).
(But the cold, really. I mean, I wanted a new climate and a real winter, but I can't remember why at the moment haha. And the jet lag. It's 9 o'clock at night and I'm falling asleep as I type this ahah)
Tomorrow we have an opening ceremony and arrival things to go through, then classes start Thursday! Exciting things! Also, this program has 840-some students. My flight to Copenhagen was almost entirely DIS students, and there were at least 2 other huge planes the same. Who knew?
Missing you all and hope all is well!
I LOVE THAT THIS IS CALLED FUNKE ADVENTURES.
